After a year and a half of being long distance, traveling over four hundred miles back and forth to one another – Ryan and I are finally in the same city at the same time – for good. It’s surreal to say the least. I couldn’t be more overjoyed with this incredible gift The Lord has given us, He has been at the heart of this whole endeavor.
Sunday, our first day off together and after a great morning of church, omelettes, lots of coffee and blasting Third Eye Blind with the windows down, we found ourselves at the Garden Factory to fill his new IKEA greenhouse I gifted him a while back.
Forty-five degrees and sunny it felt like a true Spring day especially with all the lil lush beauties surrounding us. With all this change in the past month leading up to this point my heart has been a mess of stress but with the power of prayer and patience, I am truly blessed by the presence of my love, I will never take for granted – whether we’re playing scrabble, exploring a new place, drinking too many lattes or wandering around a plant store, my heart is full.
“Love is not just tolerance. It’s not just distant appreciation. It’s a warm sense of, ‘I am enjoying the fact that you are you.’”
